Our Story

From Cosmetology School to Chemotherapy to Wig Making to Mane Wishes™

My love for hair started young.

In middle and high school, I experimented with anything I could get my hands on — color, extensions, even kitchen scissors. Hair was my art, my self-expression. I was often teased for it, but I didn’t care.

That passion eventually led me to cosmetology school, where we spent one week learning how to make wigs for the Cancer Society. It wasn’t part of the curriculum — but now I know it was divine alignment.

A year later, when I was 21, I was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma — a rare blend of Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkin’s. Chemotherapy took my hair, and with it, a part of my identity. But I remembered that week in school. I ordered supplies, watched countless tutorials, and made my first wig.

When I put it on, something in me came back to life.

It restored my radiance, my confidence, my joy. I remember dancing around my room, finally recognizing myself again.

Over the next two years — through treatment, remission, and regrowth — I kept making wigs for myself. Each one became a symbol of healing, of beauty reborn. And twelve years later, that journey became Mane Wishes — a brand built from my heart as a hairstylist, cancer survivor, and woman who knows what it feels like to lose her glow and find it again.

At Mane Wishes, we create handcrafted, professionally colored luxury wigs that look so realistic, no one will ever know it’s a wig — even under bright lights or 4K cameras.

But we don’t stop there. Each purchase includes access to our Wig Confidence Academy, a community and educational platform that offers live stylist demos, Q&A sessions, tutorials, and ongoing support so you never have to figure it out alone.

Because Mane Wishes isn’t just about beautiful hair — it’s about restoration.

It’s about helping women reclaim their confidence, their femininity, and their sense of self.

This is my ministry.

And every wig we create is a love letter to the woman on her healing journey — a reminder that what was lost can be redeemed, and what was broken can be made beautiful again.

Welcome to Mane Wishes.

Where confidence is reborn and every strand tells a story of faith, strength, and divine restoration.

I can't wait to make your hair dreams come true!
